Copa Libertadores 1967

Information

Some replays of the match are missing due to damage on the tape but it doesn't significantly affect the running time of the match as it consists mainly of a certain amount of left-out seconds that allow the spectator to follow the plays and the match in its entirety. // Both teams wore their traditional uniforms in the 1st half: Racing Club de Avellaneda wore sky blue and white stripes while Club Bolívar de La Paz used their full sky blue, but both teams switched their uniforms on the 2nd half to achieve a clear distinction between the players. Accordingly, Racing Club played with red shirts borrowed from River Plate while Club Bolívar used a darker sky blue uniform. Still, the density of both uniforms made them indistinguishable to the spectators of the black and white broadcast despite the differences in the colors and shades. Therefore please note that the local team used short-sleeved shirts while the visitors used long-sleeved shirts. Goalkeeper René Lafuente from Club Bolívar did not wear a number on his shirt.
